Quality of Health and Safety Services

- Each person is partnered with a team member to guide and monitor accomplishments and opportunities to fulfill goals, dreams, and ambitions for each person.
- We have a medical coordinator that assists with all medical appointments.
- Each team member is required to have a current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- We have on-going education for team members on topics such as blood borne pathogens, repositioning, proper hygiene, seizures, and more.
- Our entire team spends a considerable time continuing their education through work sponsored classes, in-services, seminars, and literature.
Networking
- We work closely with the Division of Developmental Disabilities to monitor our support services to ensure each person is being served to the fullest extent of our capabilities and experiencing the highest quality of lifestyle we can provide.
- L.I.F.E. networks with many organizations and people outside our team. We work together with Division of Developmental Disabilities case managers, doctors, physical and recreational therapist, Community Access, nutritionists, psychiatrists, family members, friends, and each other to make sure each person we serve has the best opportunities for a high quality of life.
Board of Directors
They provide quality assurance and do a great portion of research on house hunting and county issues such as zoning and activity coordination for the team and the people they support. They have also taken the roles of active participants in the lives of the people we support by joining in "Circles of Friends", development and manufacturing of improved prosthesis articles, planning team events, and recognizing out standing team contributions.
