Our team at Life, Inc. places the greatest value on achieving and maintaining the highest quality of life for the people who participate in our services. To accomplish this we feel we must never lose sight of what has brought us all together: the people we serve, each other and our creator. We are committed to empowering people with making positive choices for themselves by providing each person with opportunities to learn; promoting relationships with family, friends and the community; sustaining good health in a safe and comfortable home; and offering new and challenging experiences for growth, competence, and self-reliance.
We bond closely with the people we support. We are interdependent on each other and genuinely care about each other. We do for each other what we want done for ourselves by looking to our creator or conscience to ensure that our actions are being done for positive reasons and moving in the best direction in partnership with the people we serve. If we have doubts about our actions, we stop and question each other, find solutions and implement changes to keep moving in the direction of providing healthy, caring, loving relationships and high quality of life. The Life, Inc. team encourages people to take positive roles in the activities they select and also pays close attention to the desires of the people’s knowledge pertaining to cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We also support the spiritual and religious affiliation of each person by involving them in their inherited or chosen foundation within their community.
